The Get to Work Foundation offers a variety of programs and services to assist homeless veterans under the Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program. All programs and services are free to our veteran participants.
Employment Training
Get to Work Foundation will assist veterans with completing career assessments which include career interests, skills, work values, and personality profiles. Based on the results, we will work with the participants to decide on a career path, education/training requirements and address the needs of any remedial educational training that may be identified.
Upon successful completion of the assessments, participants will enroll in the selected training program to increase their employability and get them on the road to self-sufficiency and financial stability as quickly as possible.
Job Readiness Training
Get to Work!© is a job-readiness & retention program for those in need of learning and developing employability skills to increase the opportunity for achieving success in the workplace. The course includes – but is not limited to:
- How to dress for success
- Resume writing
- Interview skills
- Workplace ethics
- Conflict resolution
- Advanced communication skills
- Time management
- Work/life balance, and more!
FINANCIAL LITERACY
Participants will receive basic training for financial success to include:
- Budgeting & Savings
- Understanding your credit
- Renting vs. Owning a home
- And more!
ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING

Get to Work Foundation’s Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor. A total of 100 percent of the program is financed with federal funds.
